VOTER Registration Requirements
In order to vote in an upcoming election a person must be registered at least 7 days prior to the election.
NEXT ELECTION: Tuesday, November 6th, 2012
6 AM to 8 PM
This deadline may be waived and a person may register to vote up to the day before an election if, in this time frame, he/she;
1) turns 18,
2) becomes a United States citizen, or
3) moves into Town of East Lyme
Special voter registration sessions are scheduled prior to each election.
The Registrars’ office will stay open until 8 PM on Tuesday, October 30th for voter registration.
You may register to vote at the Registrars of Voters office, or the Town Clerk’s office during regular office hours.
Applications are available from your Registrar of Voters, the Town Clerk, or the Secretary of the State’s web site at

Voting sites
We have two sites for voting.
District One is at East Lyme High School. 30 Chesterfield Road, East Lyme, CT 06333 This includes all voters in Flanders, or north of rte 95, plus the Golden Spur neighborhood.
District two and three are at the East Lyme Community Center. 35 Society Road, Niantic, CT 06357 This includes all voters in Niantic Village or south of rte 95.
