Town of East Lyme, CT

• The Water and Sewer Department has changed to a lockbox payment system.  Your payment will go to a P.O. Box in Hartford where our bank will pick up the payments and process them on a daily basis.
• Checks can now be made out to ELWS.  This will make check writing simpler.
• The address to send your payment to is now a Hartford P.O. Box. 
• Advantages of the lockbox:  Quicker deposits to the bank account, automated account credit, electronic check imaging, labor savings and segregation of duties for the utility.
