**Local Traffic Alerts**
Traffic near Rocky Neck State Park will be restricted Sunday 09/27/09 as more than 1,000 runners are expected to participate in this weekend's Niantic Bay Half-Marathon and 5K Race. Â

Traffic restrictions will be in place from 9 a.m. until noon.

Traffic on Route 156 near the park and on South Bridebrook Road will be restricted.

Traffic on Giants Neck Road will be restricted to alternating traffic.

The half marathon runs through the park and into Giants Neck. The 5K course is run entirely in the state park.
The East Lyme Police, in conjunction with the East Lyme Resident State Trooper's Office, will direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic to their destinations.
